The Mountaineer is a traditional ski lodge with friendly, attentive service, delicious meals and an excellent location.

Located at the mountain base, you can walk to the Mount Snow & Carinthia lifts, trails, events and the Snow Barn or take the free MOOver! shuttle door-to-slopes (winter).

25 charming, non-smoking guestrooms each with private bath and 42” HDTV, await your arrival. Included with your stay is a hearty Vermont country breakfast.

The 14-person outdoor hot tub, open seasonally, is a big hit and is complemented by the soothing sauna.

Summertime finds guests enjoying our 64′ heated lap pool surrounded by lovely gardens, gazebo and 10 acre meadow. Guests love to gather in the 3 public areas including the great-room with its immense fireplace, a cozy library or the BYOB bar with 80” TV and pool table. A 24-hour complimentary coffee bar, free WI-FI and built-in USB charging ports in each room round out the amenities.

Ski Weeks for Seniors and Knitting Retreat packages available. Groups and reunions welcome; kids 2-12 free except winter weekends and holidays.
