Vermont Wildlife Festival – Sunday

Sunday, September 22nd, 10am-4pm – Mount Snow Resort, West Dover
Held under tents provided by Green Mountain Tents

Starting in 2010, the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum has invited diverse outdoor organizations to participate in this fun and engaging community event. The Vermont Wildlife Festival was founded with the idea that everyone who enjoys and uses our amazing natural resources has more in common than we think. Our goal was to get everyone together to learn about all that our beautiful state has to offer from these diverse groups. We spice up the day with activities for the kids, special presentations and walks, live animals and gorgeous fall weather. In partnership with Mount Snow, The Town of Dover, Southern Vermont Deerfield Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Vermont Wine and Harvest Festival, the event continues to grow at its new home at Mount Snow.

Vendor Application

We are currently seeking vendors for the 2024 Vermont Wine & Harvest Festival. This year’s Festival takes place on September 21st and is preceded by the Wine Stroll & Soup Contest in Wilmington on Friday, September 20th.  The Festival was created to be a destination event and is promoted and packaged to late summer and fall travelers, day trippers, and Vermonters. Deerfield Valley is a major tourist destination in the summer and fall.

The Wine & Harvest Festival celebrates the products, food, art, distilleries, and wineries of Vermont from 11am to 5pm under gorgeous tents at the Mount Snow Resort in West Dover. Last year we had over 2,300 guests. This is another fantastic opportunity for artisans from across Vermont to come together to showcase their crafts. In 2023, there were over 70 Vermont vendors made up of 21 Vermont wineries and distilleries including award-winning Shelburne Vineyards, North Branch Vineyards, Whistle Pig Distillers, Caledonia Spirits & as well as cooks, crafters, musicians and artists.

As in past years, we will restrict the number of vendors selling similar products to just four with preference given to past vendors.  The vendor deadline is August 2nd, 2024 for all application materials.

We hope you will consider participating in this great Festival. Please feel free to contact me at any time to further discuss being a vendor and thank you in advance for your consideration.
