Canine Protection League

Canine Protection League promotes kindness to all creatures, prevention of cruelty to animals, reduces shelter euthanasia through education, networking, direct owner surrender, and rescues euthanasia-listed shelter dogs who through no fault of their own find themselves homeless, unwanted, unclaimed strays, abused or neglected at overcrowded southern shelters. Canine Protection League lovingly provides each dog medical exam, medical tests, vaccines, sterilization, care of known illness and injury, microchip, grooming, house-training and provides temporary shelter in volunteer foster homes until each deemed ready to be adopted into qualified loving homes. Due to volunteer time limitations during COVID, most of our dogs are not listed online.
