South Africa: Fifteen Years After the End of Apartheid - Peter Vale

Peter Vale, the Nelson Mandela Chair of Politics at Rhodes University in South Africa, gives a firsthand account of life in South Africa seventeen years after F.W. de Klerk and Mandela were jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for working to end apartheid. Vale has just completed co-editing a book on Social Theory in South Africa. He is also working on a cartoon history of South African foreign policy and a manuscript on the history of thought in South African International Relations.
