On Columbus weekend gather the family, a group of friends or your special sweetheart and head to the Mountaineer Inn. While we’re in the beautiful Green Mountains, it’s at this time of year that the peaks and valleys come alive with Fall’s brilliant oranges, reds and golds. And one way to take pleasure in nature’s bounty is to attend the 11^th annual Oktoberfest at the Mount Snow Resort, and you won’t even need to drive. It’s just a short walk from the Mountaineer to the Oktoberfest tent. Under the tent you’ll enjoy German music, food and of course great beers. Next door is the 35^th Annual Harvest Art & Craft Show. Getting lost in the Corn Maze at Adam’s Farm or picking the perfect pumpkin at the Boyd Family Farm will round out your weekend.
