Directions to Vermont and the Southern Vermont Mount Snow Valley

GPS Users: Vermont is known for it's scenic highways and main roads as well as it's hiking and biking paths, and snowmobile trails.  Please use caution, particularly in the winter, when relying on GPS locally.

Driving Directions:
From: New York City (Eastside) (About 4 hrs.)
Take I-95 to I-91 north in New Haven, CT. Follow I-91 north through CT and MA and into VT. Take Exit 2 and follow Route 9 west to Wilmington, VT. 
The Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center is the seventh building on the right past the traffic light in the center of the village. 

From: New York City (Westside) (About 3.5 hrs.)
Take New York State Thruway (I-87) North to I-787 just outside of Albany. Follow I-787 to Troy and take Route 7 into VT. In Vermont Route 7 becomes Route 9. Follow Route 9 East to Wilmington, VT.
The Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center is on left in the center of the village. 

From: Boston, MA (About 2.5 hrs.)
Take Route 2 West to Greenfield, MA. From Greenfield take I-91 North to Brattleboro, VT. Take Exit 2 and follow Route 9 West to Wilmington, VT.

From: Hartford, CT (About 1.5 hrs.); Springfield, MA (1.75 hours)
From Hartford take I-91 North to Brattleboro, VT. Take Exit 2 and follow Route 9 West to Wilmington, VT.

From: Albany, NY and points West.  (About 1 hr.)
Take I-787 to Troy and take Route 7 into VT. From Albany Airport take Route 7 directly to Troy. In Vermont Route 7 becomes Route 9. Follow Route 9 East to Wilmington, VT.

From: Keene, NH (About 50 minutes)
From Keene take Route 9 East to Brattleboro, VT. Get on I-91 South to Exit 2 and follow Route 9 West to Wilmington, VT.

From:  Providence, RI (About 3 hours)
Take I-95 north to Route 146 North and to the Massachusetts Turnpike.  Take the Mass Pike West to I-91 North to Exit 2 in Brattleboro.  Follow Route 9 west to Wilmington, VT.

From: Montreal & Quebec City (5.5 hours)
Take Route 15 South to I-87 in New York.  Follow I-87 South to Latham Exit 7.  Take Route 7 East.  (Route 7 becomes Route 9 when you cross the Vermont state line. Follow Route 9 east 21 miles to
Wilmington, VT. 
The Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center is on the left in the center of the village.
